The club is currently in Liga Bet North A division and play at the Acre Municipal Stadium. ==History== The club was founded in 2008 and is different from the club which was known in the past as Maccabi Acre, as the original club relocated to Kiryat Ata eight years earlier〔(Maccabi Acre resurrected ) mynet, 7.8.2008 〕 and renamed to Maccabi Ironi Kiryat Ata. In their first season of existence, the club finished runners-up in Liga Gimel Upper Galilee division,〔(Liga Gimel Upper Galilee 2008/2009 ) The Israel Football Association 〕 and were promoted to Liga Bet, where they play since.
